From the water to drinks

In the morning, stand-up paddling on the Kromme Rijn, a picnic by the water and then by kickbike to the city centre for drinks at JEU. The package costs €68 per person.

Then choose Utrecht Games & Drinks: jeu de boules, lunch, shuffleboard and drinks, completely indoors in the city centre.

In winter

Stand-up paddling and canoeing are possible from April to October. Outside that period there is the Bachelor Party Winter Day: mulled wine, shuffleboard, a warm lunch and drinks, completely indoors. It costs €68 per person, exactly the same as the summer package.

Just an afternoon

Want to arrange something yourselves in the morning or party on in the evening? Boules & Drinks is an afternoon of jeu de boules with bites and drinks, for €29 per person. It is a five-minute walk from Utrecht Centraal station, so handy if the group comes by train.

For the organisers

You are arranging it, but you want to enjoy it too. That is why the price per person is fixed in advance and we book everything with our partners. The number of people can still change up to a week before the date, handy if someone is still undecided.

Organising a bachelor party in three steps

Choose a package or put together your own day, pick a Thursday, Friday or Saturday and enter the number of people. We then book everything with our partners and within three working days you receive the confirmation with a payment link. The day before, you receive all times and addresses, so you only have to focus on the bride or groom.

A package with a fixed price

Each package is a complete arrangement with a fixed price per person, VAT included: from an afternoon of Boules & Drinks for €29 to a full day From the Water to Drinks for €68. You know in advance what everyone pays, so no hassle splitting bills afterwards.

The locations

In the city centre you play jeu de boules at JEU on Paardenveld and shuffleboard at The Grand Shuffle, within walking distance of Utrecht Centraal and the terraces along the Oudegracht canal. Outside the city you go stand-up paddling or canoeing on the Kromme Rijn in Amelisweerd, from Botenverhuur De Rijnstroom.

And in the evening?

Our days end around six o’clock with drinks in the city centre. After that you are right in the old town, so you plan the evening yourselves: dinner by the canal wharves or out on the town.

What the day looks like

An example: From the Water to Drinks, for €68 per person including VAT. You can swap every activity when you plan your day.

  1. 10:00 to 12:00

    Stand-up paddling in Amelisweerd

    2 hours of stand-up paddling on the Kromme Rijn.

    Included: SUP board, paddle, life jacket. Amelisweerd, De Rijnstroom, Weg naar Rhijnauwen 2.

  2. 12:30 to 13:30

    Picnic by the water

    Picnic package at De Rijnstroom.

    Included: picnic package per person. Amelisweerd, De Rijnstroom, Weg naar Rhijnauwen 2.

  3. 14:00 to 16:00

    Kickbike tour

    On your own on a kickbike, along a set route.

    Included: kickbike, lock, route. On the move, Start according to the route (city centre or De Rijnstroom).

  4. 16:30 to 18:00

    Closing drinks

    2 drinks with bitterballen.

    Included: 2 drinks per person, bitterballen. City centre, JEU de boules bar, Paardenveld.

How many people can take part?

From 8 people.

Does everyone need to be able to swim?

For stand-up paddling, yes: being able to swim is required. Everyone gets a life jacket. If not everyone can swim, choose a package in the city centre.

What does a bachelor party in Utrecht cost?

With us from €29 per person for an afternoon and €68 for a full day, VAT included. You see the price of each package in advance.

Does it also work for a stag party?

Yes. The packages are for any group of friends. Jeu de boules, shuffleboard and canoeing with drinks or a BBQ afterwards work for every crowd.

What if it rains?

Jeu de boules, shuffleboard and the drinks are indoors, so they always go ahead. Canoeing also goes ahead in the rain; only in case of thunder or strong wind do we switch to an indoor activity.

Which days are available?

Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Please book at least 14 days in advance.

Can the number of people still change?

Yes, up to 7 days before the date. After that, the number is final.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes, you can pass on dietary requirements when you book. A vegetarian option is also available for lunch. We cannot arrange custom programmes.
